We are turning Flexi, Flipz and Robo aka the Hip Hop Tots into an animated television series! Last year we were very proud to present our first picture book featuring the Hip Hop Tots and super delighted that they will soon be found on your television screens. We are super duper excited and really believe that Hip Hop Tots – the animated series will be incredibly beneficial for children of all ages for the reasons we have listed below:
1. Children Relate to Animated Characters
As we have found in our classes, kids connect with characters and most of them, if not all love cartoons! Aspirational and positive characters like Flexi, Flipz and Robo aka the Hip Hop Tots being featured in an animated series will give children something to look up to and a set of positive behaviours to emulate.
2. Animated Stories are Great Teachers
The Hip Hop Tots Animated series will tell stories that teach empathy, resilience and more. The stories will involve characters that kids like and connect to, who later learns a lesson that makes them feel a particular way. This helps children develop better interpersonal skills by seeing and hearing a character’s emotions.
3. Children Imitate the Character’s Behaviour
Children will often mimic the words and actions of cartoons that they watch. The Hip Hop Tots animated series will offer positive examples of words and behaviours helping viewers to think through their choices and behaviour. Flexi, Flipz and Robo will be characters that model the behaviours that we WANT our children to imitate.
4. Animated Stories are short, sweet and to the point
The great thing about the animated form is that they can say a lot in a few minutes. Our Hip Hop Tots animated series will entertain and teach a powerful lesson in just a few minutes!
5. Animations engage children
We have long used the characters Flexi, Flipz and Robo in our dance classes to engage our students. These loveable characters have become immediately recognisable and trusted in our sessions.
